Cyclists and runners!

Saturday’s leisure spin suffered some wet misty weather but it didn't deter the group from having a 35km group spin with coffee afterwards to finish off. There was some lovely bright warm autumn weather this morning for our Sunday spin where 14 cyclists took a lively pace out to a coffee stop in Birdhill. Road Captain John Murphy managed to throw in a new sneaky little drag section before bringing everyone home safely via Shower Cross.

Well done to the runners too who took on the St. Michael's Rowing Club (SMRC) fundraiser in conjunction with Limerick Suicide Watch – and to club chairman Valerie Dunne who managed both the club spin and the 5km run. Well done everyone who was out and about this weekend, keep fit, keep healthy, make friends, have fun.

Monday Leisure spins have now finished for they year but our Saturday Leisure group will continue throughout the winter. 9am every Saturday from Woodies.
