RONK & Mizen to Malin..

Frank took on the Ring of North Kerry run by Finuge Freewheelers C.C. and Declan did the 650km Mizen to Malin challenge in aid of Hugh's House. With daylight starting to close in, there are just a few more weeks of Wednesday Night hills before the traditional Nighthawks route of the Condell Road will kick in. The Saturday leisure group had a 100% success rate tackling Hill Road in Bunratty this weekend, well done everyone.

A bright pink haze of 25 Sunday Spinners took on a new(ish) route with plenty of hilly sections through Bridgetown to Birdhill to the Clare Glens. The group stayed together until coffee, cake and craic in Applegreen Birdhill. Here the group split, with some taking a shorter route home, and the other two groups providing a speed to suit everyone. Thanks to this week’s Road Captains Kevin, John D, John M, Declan and Philip for setting routes and getting everyone home safely. Warm welcome to the new club members who have recently joined up.

Coming up next week is the Club Rothaiochta Classic race in Shannon. Kevin Dunne and John Butler are heading out to represent the club. Best of luck lads.
