Still plenty going on....

Another busy weekend of cycling with members enjoying the sunshine on offer in Cork on the An Post Rebel Tour, in Kerry at the Mike Murphy Memorial Cycle or in Antrim using the Giant's Causeway Coast Sportive as training ground for the 2lads2events challenge coming up next year. The leisure group, was out on Saturday as were some individuals out on sneaky training – you have been spotted! Sunday too was a dry day so with another new route to be explored the merry gang of 14 lads and 2 lassies headed out in headwinds strongly believing a good tailwind was waiting them on the homeward leg . Well, this is Ireland – it was like a vortex out there today with headwinds and crosswinds but the elusive tailwind seems to be gone missing.

Wednesday winter nighthawks are back – 2 loops of the Condel Road/Ennis Road. Great training keeping up the mileage for the winter. Hi Viz jacket with front and back lights essential. 6.50pm at Woodies Ennis Road.

Coming up next weekend there is a choice of events - Adare has the A & P WEST LIMERICK CHALLENGE. run by our neighbours Adare and Patrickswell Cycling clubs in aid of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's associations. Pallasgreen hosts Clare's Wish Foundation cycle or why not head to Kerry for the The Chain Gang Cycling Club sportive. All great events with a variety of distances and hills to suit your fancy.
