C4SC with Limerick Smarter Travel...

A very successful weekend of cycling. Saturday, in conjunction with Limerick Smarter Travel, we hosted a `Back to Cycling’ event with over 35 cyclists taking part. Accompanied by experienced C4SC cyclists, the group were given a road safety briefing by the Road Captain before availing of the bike lanes and hard shoulder to Bunratty and returning again after a 35km spin for a coffee morning in The Hub. Many thanks to LST for their assistance in organising this event and for all the road safety goodies available to everyone.

Sunday Spinners took the familiar and very popular route to Kilmallock for a lively 75km route – records were broken by everyone in near perfect cycling conditions (though there are rumours that it was the super strength coffee in Kilmallock which accounted for some of the speed records). Well done to everyone in the two groups – namely The Fast Group and The Faster Group 😆

Wicklow 200/100 2018 was on for the thrill seekers who love hills and distance.
