A massive Thank You!!!

What can we say other than a massive thank you to the huge crowd of cyclists who turned up today in support of the Awareness Tour 2018 (Cycle 4 Sick Children) From set up at 8am there was a steady steam parading through Raw Cycles Limerick to sign up. It’s always great to meet up with cyclists at events like this, the coffee is flowing, the chat is good, and plenty of laughs from everyone, friendships are renewed.

A strong wind was battled all the way to Kilmallock for refreshments but the tail wind home made up for this with everyone arriving back in Raw Cycles in great time – and before the rain. Another round of coffee & cake, chat, and laughs before everyone headed for home, and the curtains are drawn on another very successful Awareness Tour.

Registration, road marshals, BikeMarshals.ie, medics, bakers and sandwich makers, tea makers, drivers, Staker Wallace GAA club, and all supporters and volunteers – a great job done by everyone to ensure we were kept safe and well fed the whole day long. Days like this are the work of a good working group and everyone responded in force to bring it all together.
