A sunny weekend...

Taking advantage of wonderful sunshine on Saturday the Leisure group took a quick spin to Bunratty before tacking the usual weekend's catch up chores.

It was the typical cycling on Sunday with one group out in Salesian Cycle Challenge in Pallaskenry, another group out in Kilmallock and some random individuals hitting the hills all around Limerick and Clare with some hill training.

Big kudos this week to Emer Hayes in China for her epic 300km cycle around Lake Tahu in Suzhou. Some major mileage being racked up by the C4SC cyclists in recent weeks.

Others in the club are trying their hands at racing for the first time this year with all the local leagues and time trials pulling in great numbers each week. Well done to Limerick Cycling Club, The Hub and Club Rothaíochta na Sionainne for giving the opportunity for so many to take the first racing steps.

Coming up next Sunday is the Garryowen cycle in aid of Milford Care Centre and the Keeper Cycling Club challenge. And don’t forget the C4SC Awareness tour on Sunday 20th May in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland foundation.
