Happy New Year 2018

At the New Year's Day traditional spin 16 hardy (please be gentle with me/haven’t cycled in weeks) athletes started out from Raheen to negotiate their way out to Ballingarry for a much needed cuppa. Tough winds decided to accompany us on the outward journey with cries of “I thought this was a flat route”. Just when we thought we were having one of our first dry cycles in weeks, freezing pelting rain gave everyone a thorough soaking going through Patrickswell. With a river of water on the road there was no way to avoid everyone getting it. All home safely with everyone taking turns of controlling the junctions and minding the back of the group.
