Another successful week!
A very wet Saturday in Limerick saw the leisure cycle being cancelled but that didn’t stop the C4SC adventurers up in Westport from undertaking Westport Sea 2 Summit 2017. 4km run followed by 11km on the bike to a hike up Croagh Patrick followed by a cycle home and a boggy seaweed run back to the finish line. After torrential rains on Friday night the Reek had a heavy flowing river gushing down the side of the mountain but it was generally a dry day overall. Tired bodies but no injuries and everyone home safely. Never again – until next year !! Well done to Robert Noone, Clair & Philip CP Ducie, John and Valerie Dunne who brought the club colours to Mayo.
With clear bright skies on Sunday in Limerick, the Sunday spinners took a route towards Sixmilebridge for coffee before heading to Broadford and home via Tuagh.
Meanwhile Padraig did a bit of sightseeing on his 200km trek through Co. Meath. Well done everyone, looks like another successful week.
