Club members out and about....

Taking advantage of the good cycling weather lots of smaller breakaway groups out and about this week. The roads were well covered this weekend with members heading out in all directions to make sure everyone was getting in the kms. Kevin led the boys and Emer on a 160km route to Cork for a trip up the infamous Patrick Street Hill – and enjoyed it so much they even went up it twice! Other groups covered Gallows - all sides of it and sometimes twice in the one spin for some hill repeat work.

Jason and Stephene took on the roads around Kilkee, with Sunday spinners crossing borders taking in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Peter kept the Cork flag flying taking in the Mizen Challenge while the shy members who don't have the paparazzi following them around took on sneaky training on their own.

This morning, Kilmallock Cycling Club's Hub Event took place in lovely sunshine and warm temperatures compared to the wilder March weather we were used to in previous years. Well done Kilmallock CC – great event again. Next Sunday sees Glin Knights Cycling Club's event in aid of Enable Ireland.

With 4 organised C4SC spins a week, there is always something for everyone. Saturday and Monday are the leisure spins for those getting into cycling or finding their bike legs again. Wednesday nighthawks and Sundays for the more experienced cyclists. See you out and about soon.
