200km cycle & much more!
Most people consider the word “meander” to be a Sunday stroll round town but in Padraig O Connor's case it was a 200km cycle through the midlands !! well done Padraig, not your average weekend spin. Meanwhile Maurice Casey donned club colours and was spotted at Anglesboro Cycling Club's local event while Valerie Dunne and Mick Garry joined 600 other athletes and took on the Joey Hannan Memorial Triathlon run by Limerick Triathlon Club in UL.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday – 4 spins a week to suit the differing levels of ability within the C4SC club, and differing routes within the spins in many cases. If you are interested in group cycling and increasing your level of fitness what you need is a roadworthy bike, suitable cycling clothes, helmet, and your determination to do you best.
Coming up next week is the Great Limerick Run – best of luck to everyone taking part in any of the three distances and big best wishes to Aaron McGlade and Andy who will be taking on the first of their two challenges 2lads2events fundraiser with funds going to Alzhimers Association and Cycle 4 Sick Children. First up is the Belfast City Marathon next Monday 1st May and following that up with a cycle Limerick to Paris in June. Stay safe on the roads
