Happy 1st Birthday to our leisure group :-)

Another busy weekend – 12 months ago in the sleet and freezing cold Declan O'Brien started this group and yesterday big numbers took advantage of the blazing sunshine with some more new starters coming along to give group cycling a try. Declan will be back to us next week for a proper celebration.

John Murphy took charge of today’s Sunday spin and brought back an old favourite route we hadn’t used for a while. Group 1 took to Broadford and stopped for coffee in Tuamgraney and returned home via Killaloe with 100km in the legs. Group 2 took a right turn in Broadford and cut back over to OBB and continued home for a decent 60km route.

Riverside CyclingClub Ennistymon's Ring of North Clare took place yesterday – fantastic weather for it. Well done to the lads who took on the 125km route.

With the longer days our Night Hawks group have started extending out their route to Bunratty for this week and soon will be heading to the hills of Gallows, 3 sisters, Hill Road Bunratty, etc. All good routes for hill training.

The club runners took to the roads this weekend too with the Eamon Moloney 10k Road Run/Sonny Murphy 10 mile run in Killnaboy in the heart of The Burren.

Well done everyone.
