Pat Nolan 17th annual cycle

Yesterday saw a massive group support the Pat Nolan 17th annual cycle in aid of Cliona’s Foundation. Great day out for a great cause. Well done Pat on organising another fabulous event. He promised its the last one – until next year :)

Some people managed to get a full weekend cycling pass and took full advantage. With bikes loaded, the convoy headed to Ennistymon for the first of the 2017 spins around the Atlantic coastline. Following the route of the SRAC, the lads followed route manager Loraine Cliffe for an 80km 4 seasons in one day trip through Cliffs of Moher, Ballyvaughan and the Burren. Plenty of water on the roads but thankfully not too much falling from the skies. Lessons for the day – make sure your bike is secured on the bike rack, check your cleats and don’t always trust the weather forecast.

With so many members out on bikes so early in the year, things are looking good for the season ahead.
