Sport is fun :-)

Sport is fun – pain etched on the face, face full of muck, meeting up with new friends in different locations, heavy legs begging for the next downhill, or the joy of getting your hands on that medal (not to mention the pint) at the end of a hard race.

The Saturday group welcomed some old and new friends - remember it's never too late to return to fitness.

The Sunday group got a bit muddy and had a competition to see who could get the muckiest – I’ll leave it up to you to decide who wins that prize !

John Murphy trekked over the border and met up with Aoife Ni Raghallaigh and her friends in Killarney Cycling Club for an 80km trip through Cork and Kerry.

Meanwhile Gaelforce 2017 kicked off in Dublin with Damien’s first ever attempt at adventure racing. Won’t be his last.

And just for something different, Aaron had a pleasurable !!!! 30km run lined up for this morning in training for the 2lads2events marathon coming up on 1st May.

To everyone who didn’t make the wall of success this weekend, well done. If you didn’t get out this week – tomorrow starts a whole new week.
