Fundraising, partying, cycling & a marathon

The C4SC crew were busy in the Crescent Shopping Centre this week fundraising for the Limerick School for the Hearing Impaired in Rosbrien. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help with the fundraiser and to those who donated towards this great local cause. We are delighted to have raised €2,200 which will fund some items the school badly need. Well done everyone. A great finish up for 2016

Saturday night partying with the C4SC gang didn’t stop the Sunday Spinners heading out for a 80km route. A big thank you to Will Morgan and the staff at Jerry Flannery's Bar for hosting the gang, and in the good tradition of C4SC, we waited till the last man was ready to go home. Although some had to be persuaded that they did indeed have homes to go to :) Big thanks too to Raw Cycles Limerick and Flannerys for the spot prizes on the night. The raffle for the Crescent Fundraiser will take place later on tonight and winners notified. We’ll get the prizes out to you asap.

Congratulations to Aaron McGlade who is taking on the 2lads2events next summer. After turbo training in the Crescent on Friday night and having a few social hours with the gang at Saturday’s party, he still managed to complete his first half marathon today. Brilliant achievement Aaron.
