Wet wet wet
On one of the wettest August weekends in a long time, we had big numbers out on the road.. Club-Rothaíochta Na-Sionainna held their Inaugural classic road race with Kevin Dunne representing the club colours. A strong bunch finish saw Kevin well pleased with his first race of the year. Coming in with an average of 38kph over 70 km route, its speed most of us only ever see when out driving.
Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford turned out to be a fairly wet day on the bike but again the club was well represented with C4SC coming in very strongly with the biggest clubs in the country. Due to the weather, the top of Mahon Falls was closed off but well done to all gang.
Sunday spin group ventured out in the rain this morning for a wet 70km around Croom with our customary coffee stop this week in Ballingarry. Tough weekend on the bike – well done everyone who ventured out.
