All kinds of everything

So like the song this week we had a bit of “All kinds of everything” or “pick n mix” if you perfer sweets. People opting for a shortcut home, detour was taken to include Knockfierna Hill. Everyone stopped for coffee in Ballingarry where there appeared to be a cyclists convention happening with all the Limerick clubs dropping in for coffee and a chat. A few then decided to put in extra mileage to get to the magical 100k and not content with all that, John took on Gallows by Woodcock Hill.

We also paid a visit to the newly opened Mungret Playground and included a spin around the cycle track there. The park was heaving with young and not so young all enjoying the facilities in perfect sunshine. Great work put into getting the park to the finish line - inspiration for the idea came 4 years ago from Cycle4sickchildren Cycling Team and now with Sophie’s Journey.

With events on all over the country, C4SC gang were at Finuge Freewheelers C.C.'s RONK, at Tour de Kildare and just to make us a bit jealous, Tom O'Farrell sent us some photos from his spins in France.
