A New Dawn Arrives for C4sc/Hibernia Cycling Team

A new dawn for this exciting club emerged on Sunday last when the club designed to create AWARENESS on children’s disability certainly clocked up the miles doing so

.Again “The crazy Gang” left the Pier One hotel slightly earlier than usual. The team led out by Martin Doherty, took on a 70k cycle around a county Limerick route ,Cycling Ireland coaching staff were in Limerick with their Sprocket Rocket tutor programme where Ben Murphy and Elaine Barry passed with flying colours. The Rockets will be back in action very soon again. An amazing performance in the cycling pursuits cup saw 6 riders take part in the tough draggy route ,John Higgins placed 13th and Aidan Quigley ,Edward O’Connell ,Liam Mulcahy,Hugh Dunne and Paul McGee finished in the chasing field .It was a great tribute to the club and to all the members who gave their sunday to the club. The club would like to extend it’s thanks to all the C4sc Supporters who turned out in Broadford to support the club in the bitter cold .Next Saturday the club will take part in the Limerick Lourdes charity before we launch the club officially in Pier One Hotel. All are welcome, evening starts at 8pm. There will be no sunday spin for obvious reasons .
